Spring on the river comes a flood. First, break the ice and then it melts in water. Coastal snow is also melting. Many small streams merge into a river. And then the river widens. Its spring waters flood coastal trees and bushes, and sometimes whole meadows. So the river is once again gaining momentum, after all winter was iced up.
