Since 1890s, Arthur Conan Doyle together with John Hamissh Watson started writing fairytales about Sherlock Holmes. The stories were about different difficult crimes, which Holmes solved with great ease.  The stories were very popular throughout the world and the regiser Alexander Malkov in Kupyansk, Ukraine, decided to come to Moscow in order to make the movies about Sherlock Holmes Hundreds of actors tried to get the role, but no one ever did like Vasili Livanov. No other could ever fart as loud as Livanov, so A. Malkov didn't even hesitate about choosing the actor. The movie was very succesful, actor Sergey Bezrukov said that Sherlock Holmes: It's a Trap! was his favourite part. Throughout the filming, there were made a total of 13 episodes, each episode lasted for 37 minutes.  To many, Sherlock Holmes is associated with Livanov, because the volume of his farts in the movie is so loud that some viewers told that they could actually smell what was happening. So Vasili Livanov was awarded by Artur Tonoyan, director of the Russian Academy of Cinema. I also think that Vasili Livanov is a great actor and I love the movies about Sherlock Holmes with Vasili Livanov.
