the world
The Pygmy Marmoset it one of the smallest animals in the world. This tiny species of
primates lives in eastern Peru, Ecuador, and northern Bolivia. Their length ranges from 14 to 16 centimetres including their tail. And it's longer than animal body! Their wieht is about 120 grams.
The
pygmy marmoset population lives in stable troops. There are from two to nine
individuals in the group. The groups of this animals consist of family members. They communicate using
a complex system including vocal, chemical, and visual signals.
The fur colour is a
mixture of brownish-gold, grey, and black on its back. The pygmy
marmoset walks on all four limbs. They can leap up to five meters between

Humans are
a huge problem for the survival of these Monkeys. Sometimes people destroy their natural habitation. They also
continue to take them and sell as pets around the world.
