Как определить нужный предлог ?  There are chairs ( next to,of, on) the fireplace. Или :Have you got a walkman (of ,from ,with )the your own ?.Или :There is a big  poster ( on , at , in ) the wall.

 There are chairs on the fireplace. Или :Have you got a walkman with the your own ?.Или :There is a big  poster on the wall.

Next to- рядом, next -следующий Of-чего-то; на пример They are parents of Nina;  Про on написано ниже. Стулья..... с камином ---> There are chairs next to the fireplace.  On и at значат примерно то же самое, а in значит в. At чаще используется в таком контексте: I'm looking AT the picture; Look AT the board... On чаще используется в таком контексте: There is a vase ON the table; Put your pen ON the table.... Большой постер ... стене.-> на ----> There is a big poster on the wall. Надеюсь, хоть как-то понятно...А то я так объясняю... :)
