I would like to tell you about my favorite holiday – Halloween. I think it is a very interesting holiday. Many people in the USA and the UK celebrate this holiday with great pleasure, but, unfortunately, in our country this holiday is not well known. People celebrate Halloween on the 31st of October. On this day children wear costumes of ghosts and witches. They go for a walk late at night, knock at doors of their neighbors, and shout: "Trick or treat?'' The neighbors give sweets or money, and it is really much fun. The main symbol of Halloween is a pumpkin. Children cut holes in pumpkins and place candles into them. At night pumpkins look like heads with burning eyes, and it is horrible and frightening. On this holiday people decorate their houses with pumpkins. Children bring pumpkins to school too.
