Astana - it is the capital of Kazakhstan. Population of  Astana - 700 thousand people. The city is situated on the river Ishim. The name "Almaty" means "Capital City". This name was chosen because it is easily pronounced in many languages. The city is built a modern international airport that can take all kinds of aircraft. The airport is located at a distance of 16 km from the city. I like this sity.

The city of Astana is the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1998y. To this time the capital time the sity of Almaty was long.
