My great-great-grandmother Evdokia was born in 1888 in a wealthy family. In the 16 years she was married to a Cossack Ilya Ivanovich. They had 6 children, but 3 children died in infancy.Before the 1917 revolution they lived richly. During the revolution, Ilya Ivanovich went to fight on the side of the White Army, and in 1918 was killed in action. In 1933, Evdokia was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with confiscation of property for the fact that she was a Cossack.Having stayed in prison, she reached the foot of the village, where there was hunger, and brought a bag of crackers 2. She lived a long life, was very hard-working and strong woman.

Моя прапрабабушка Евдокия родилась в 1888 году в зажиточной семье. В 16 лет её выдали замуж за казака Илью Ивановича. У них было 6 детей, но 3 из них умерли в раннем детстве. До революции 1917 года они жили богато. Во время революции Илья Иванович ушёл воевать на стороне белой армии и в 1918 году был убит в бою. В 1933 году Евдокию осудили на 5 лет тюремного заключения с конфискацией имущества за то, что она была казачкой. Отсидев в тюрьме она пешком дошла до деревни, где был голод, и принесла с собой 2 мешка сухарей. Она прожила долгую жизнь, была очень работящей и сильной женщиной.

There was a famine and she brought two bags of crackers. She lived a long life. She was a very hard-working and strong woman.
