Ben is  crying because he managed to become a prize winner / he has become a prize winner Sue is smiling because is getting the gymnastics Alice is crying because she has played a game of tennis badly Mark is crying because he has gotten the silver in the one hundred-metre race Nora is crying because she has missed the final figure skating competition Rose is laughing because she has remembered her birthday party George is smiling because he has made the world record Polly is smiling because she has become a member of the local baseball team Jim is crying because he has come first in an important horse race
