задание 1 : 1. Children usually start primary (or elementary) school at the age of 3. 2. Children usually leave secondary school at the age of 16-17. 3. Compulsory education starts at the age of 6-7. It finishes at the age of 14-15.  I think these aren`t  the correct ages because children are too young to choose their future educational way. 4. Yes, most people prefer to go on to higher education. They think higher education can guarantee them a better job. Mostly, they have to pay for higher education. 5. To my mind, exams are more common.  The better way of monitoring progress is continuous assessment because exams can not precisely evaluate students’ study progress, while continuous assessment can. Since the time allowed and the number of questions in each of the final exams are limited, the test cannot cover all of the knowledge that students have acquired. Finally, continuous assessment helps students be aware of their ability, studies, and progress so that they can improve their grades by focusing on their weakness. So, there is no doubt that continuous assessment is the best way for schools and teachers to evaluate their students’ study progress.
