At the air terminal
Mr. Harding’s taxi arrived at the air terminal. It’s ten past nine. He thanks the driver and pays the fare. The driver takes Mr. Harding’s luggage and puts it on the ground.
A porter takes the luggage to the air terminal. Mr. Harding looks at a clock. It’s a quarter past nine.
A stewardess takes Mr. Harding’s ticket and luggage. She keeps the luggage but gives the ticket back. Then she gives the luggage to the coach driver. The coach arrives at twenty past nine.
It’s half past nine now. The coach arrived at the airport. Mr. Harding goes to the Departure Control. An official looks at Mr. Harding’s passport. It a quarter to ten Mr. Harfing follows a stewardess to the plane.
It’s ten o’clock, and the plane leaves on time.
