The day was hot, and I was eating ice cream to cool off a little. When I was walking past the lake, I saw my friends Carol and Jim. They were walking with their dog. When we met, we stopped to chat. We were talking when suddenly their dog jumped up and tried to eat my ice cream. I pulled out my hand and, to my regret, the ice cream slipped out of the cup. Turning around, I saw a bald man behind me. He was sitting quietly on the bench and did not bother anybody, he was just reading a newspaper. In general, when I pulled my hand out, the ice cream flew out of the cup, then flew some distance and "landed" on the man's head. I did not know what to do - whether to laugh or cry.(Возможно к переводу будут замечания в некоторых местах.)
