Peter: I say, mum, I'm so hungry I could eat a horse. I haven't had a thing all day.  His mother: you are just in time for dinner. Peter: No soup for me. I'd rather have beef steak. Mother: Are you quite sure you wouldn't like some soup? It tastes all right. Peter: I think there's nothing like steak and chipped potatoes you cook. I'll go and wash my hands.
