 I have very little information about my family’s history. And I think that it is bad because knowing some details about one’s family’s past like where they were living, makes that period come alive, and if you visit some of the places your ancestors lived? You can find many general features between you and your great grandmother.For example, knowing your family’s history can take you back to about 1940-s. I know that my great grandfather was the Hero of the Great Patriotic War and was rewarded with an Order of the Red Star. He was wounded four times during the war and then killed in that war.Despite the fact that I’ve never seen him, I am very proud of my relative.It’s interesting that all the male relatives in our family after that war decided to devote their lives to the careers of military men. I think this is so because they all wanted to thank our great grandfathers for saving Russia from perishing.I will try to tell my little brother and sister all I know about my family because I want them to know the past and respect our family’s values.
