There are many traditions in Great Britain. Englishmen celebrate Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving Day and many other holidays. Halloween is one of their favourite holidays. It is on the 31-st of October. Children and their parents take pumpkin, cut out eyes, nose and a mouse, put candle inside. Kids put on funny costumes and lnock at the doors of the houses. They say "Trick or treat" and get sweets.  Russian celebrate Victory Day, May Day, the Women's and many other holidays. My family always celebraites the day of Victory. We buy carnations and present them to veterans.  My favourite holiday is New Year. I like New Year tree, bells and presents. On New Year night I  go to visit my friends or stay at home and watch TV. I believe that a miracle is a must on this day.
