А еще Санта Клаус прислал вам письма от английских школьников. Прочитайте вслух полученное вами письмо. (На карточках наклеены напечатанные небольшие тексты, которые дети читают вслух.) Ход урока

1. Dear boys and girls, I am sure that all of you like to help people. Today we shall do a lot of useful things at our lesson and at the end of it you can tell everybody about them.

First, today is Kate's birthday and she has invited us to her birthday party. But we can't go there without a present. Let's go to the toy shop and choose a nice present for Kate.

P1: Hello. Have you got a cat?

P2 (a shop-girl): Hi. Yes, we have.

P1: Give me, please, a yellow cat.

P2: Here it is.

P1: Thank you.

P2: Not at all.

P1: Good-bye.

P2: Good-bye.

2. So you have got nice presents for Kate. Tell your friends about your presents.

P1: I've got a toy. It is a cat. It is nice and funny. It is yellow. It can say, "Mew, mew." I like my cat.

3. Now we have got many toys and can go to Kate. Let's say "Happy birthday to you, Kate!" and sing a song for her.(All pupils wish Kate a happy birthday and sing the song "Happy Birthday to You".)And now it's time to give Kate the presents.

P1: Take my cat, please. K: Thank you.(All pupils give Kate their presents.)

4. Oh, what a nice tape Kate has got! It is a letter from her friend. She wants you to listen to the letter and help her to understand it.(The pupils listen to the tape.)

Dear Kate,

I want to write you a letter because today is your birthday. Happy birthday to you! I hope you have got many friends and they can come to see you. I've got a friend too. His name is Spot. It is a nice little puppy. He is black and white. He is very funny. He can run but he can't jump. He likes to play with my toys but he doesn't like to sit under the table. Have you got a puppy or a kitten?
