Ход урока

1. Hello, children. Do you like going to the Zoo? I think you do. So today I want you to visit the Zoo. Let's start. Look! We are at the Zoo but we can't enter because we haven't got tickets. The zoo keeper wants you to write what and how many animals they have at the zoo. This picture will help you.

(The pupils look at the picture and write, for example: two red foxes, four grey lions, etc.)

2. Well done, children. Now the zoo keeper will allow us to come in. Look! There are two boys near the box. What are they talking about? I can't hear all the words. Help me to understand their dialogue taking the phrases from the box.

P1: Do you like monkeys?

P2: Of course I do.

P1: But where is the little monkey?

P2: I'm sorry I don't know.

P1:1 think it is ill.

P2: What a pity!

3. a) Look! What a nice animal! Do you know what it is? I don't think you know much about it. Let's come up to the zoo keeper and ask him questions about it: its colour, size, what it can and can't do, what it likes and doesn't like to do, where it is and so on.(Pupils write or ask questions.)
